LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a man has died after being shot in Las Vegas near Nellis Air Force Base.
Authorities say they found the wounded man Wednesday night and took him to a hospital, where he later died.
While there has been no official information on whether a suspect is in custody, KTNV-TV’s news helicopter recorded video of a man being taken into custody at a nearby convenience store.
With the shooting scene – believed to be a motel in the area – was still under investigation, several streets in the area of Las Vegas Blvd, Craig Road and Nellis Blvd were closed.
