LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say a man has been shot to death at an extended stay hotel near Nellis Air Force Base.
Police say a group of people in a black Volkswagen Jetta with gold rims and Arizona license plates pulled into the hotel parking lot at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday and tried to get someone to come outside. Officers say the person came out when the group of people started damaging a car in the parking lot.
Police say shots were fired and the shooter took off with two other people.
Sgt. Richard Strader says there was a fight before the shooting, possibly about drugs.
